The Kansas City Chiefs announced five additions to their coaching staff Friday as preparations continue for the 2026 season.
DeMarco Murray has been named running backs coach. He spent the past six seasons in the same role at Oklahoma. A former NFL running back, Murray rushed for 7,174 yards and 49 touchdowns during his seven-year career.
Chad O’Shea returns to Kansas City as wide receivers coach. He began his NFL career with the Chiefs in 2003 and later coached with Minnesota, New England, Miami and Cleveland.
Terry Bradden Jr. joins as assistant defensive line coach. He previously worked on the Chiefs’ staff from 2017 to 2024 before spending last season at Nebraska.
Nate Pagan has been hired as offensive quality control coach after nine seasons at Villanova. CJ Cox joins as defensive quality control coach following a season at Coastal Carolina.
All five coaches are now in place for the upcoming season.
