Kansas State set three school records over two days at the Tyson Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Center.
The women’s 4×400 relay team of Desirae Riehle, Delaney Brinker, Anastasiia Kretova and Vanessa Mercera finished second in 3:33.59, breaking the previous school record of 3:34.27 set in 2015. Mercera also set a school record in the 400 meters Friday, running 52.83 seconds.
Senior Gary Moore Jr. broke his own school record in the men’s weight throw with a mark of 23.54 meters, finishing second.
Daniela Wamokpego won the women’s triple jump at 13.59 meters. Devin Loudermilk placed third in the men’s high jump at 2.19 meters.
On the track, Jackson Esquibel and Julian Avila posted personal bests in the mile, while Vienna Lahner moved to second on K-State’s all-time list in the 3,000 meters.
K-State closes the regular season next week at home.
