The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is asking for public comments on an amendment to the Federal Fiscal Year 2026–2029 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
The STIP is a detailed list of transportation projects managed by KDOT. It includes projects funded by state, federal, and local sources, covering work on state highways as well as county and city roads. A list of the projects included in the amendment is available at ksdot.gov under the State Transportation Improvement Program section.
A public comment period is required before the amendment can be approved. Comments will be accepted through March 5. To share feedback, contact KDOT’s Division of Program and Project Management at 785-296-2252.
