Obituary-Robert “Bob” Larman

Robert “Bob” Allen Larman, age 78, passed away suddenly at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO on February 19, 2026.

Bob was born on December 11, 1947 to Albert and Ruby Larman in Blythville, AR. Bob lost his father at the age of three. They relocated to El Paso, TX, where his mother met and married Berton F. Clement, a member of the U.S. Air Force. Living in a military family, Bob grew up in several areas of the world — from Texas to Louisiana, Nebraska, England, and Spain. Bob graduated high school in 1966 in Lincoln, NE. He then joined the U.S. Air Force, serving two tours in Vietnam and SE Asia.

During his military career, Bob was able to obtain a degree in Business Management. Upon retirement from active duty, he became a management consultant for the U.S. Military through Civil Service.

Bob was a member of the American Legion and The Elks Club of Clay Center, KS. He was also a former President of the Clay Center Country Club. He was an avid golfer, a true Patriot, all-around great guy, and Friend to all. Everybody loved Bob!

Bob is preceded in death by his father Albert Lee Larman of Searcy, AR, his mother Ruby Lee McIntyre (Hawkins, Larman, Clement) of Clay Center, KS, his brothers David Lee Larman of Phoenix, AZ and Jeffrey Wayne Clement of Lawton, OK.

Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Larman of Clay Center, KS, Son Michael David Larman of Clay Center, KS, Sisters Linda Crocker of Edmond, OK and Janet Clement of Edmond, OK, and Grandchildren Annika Louisa Larman of Vancouver, WA, Eva Marie Larman of Vancouver, WA, and Alexander Robert Larman of Vancouver, WA.

Please come join us in the Celebration of Life for Bob Larman at the Clay Center Country Club on Sunday, March 1, 2026, beginning at 1:00 P.M. Military Honors will be held at 2:00 P.M., and celebrations will continue into the evening. All are welcome to come and go as they are able.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and can be sent in care of the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
