The 2026 Kansas Governor’s Conference on Aging will build on last year’s momentum by bringing together health professionals, policymakers, students, educators, and community leaders from across the state. The goal is to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and highlight work focused on aging in Kansas.
Through keynote presentations and interactive sessions, the conference will focus on strengthening the workforce that supports older adults. Topics will include health care, home and community-based services, aging services, and community systems. Sessions will highlight new strategies, research-based approaches, and partnerships that support recommendations from the Senior Care Task Force and help prepare a strong workforce to assist older Kansans as they age in their homes and communities.
A call for presentation abstracts will open in April 2026, with more details on submission guidelines, registration, and scholarships to be released at that time.
Registration will open in summer 2026 and will include conference sessions, meals, continuing education credits, and materials.
