The Dane G. Hansen Foundation has named 229 high school seniors from 47 Northwest Kansas schools as winners in its 51st annual scholarship competition.
In selecting award winners, the Scholarship Committee considered proficiency in verbal and writing skills. Other important factors included academic records, test scores, and community service, in which the student may have participated.
Winners across the listening area include:
- Raelynn Moore, Clifton-Clyde High School
- Elijah Rounds, Bennington H.S.
- Mya Bauer, Concordia H.S.
- Kaylen Gourley, Bennington H.S.
- Madelynn McMurray, Bennington H.S.
- Luke Ingram, Bennington H.S.
- Jordi Fahey, Clifton-Clyde H.S.
- Ethan Sacco, Clifton-Clyde H.S.
- Lindsey Berk, Concordia H.S.
- Abby Gans, Bennington H.S.
- Aidan Warkentin, Clifton-Clyde H.S.
- Luke Nobert, Clifton-Clyde H.S.
Scholarships offered ranged from $4,000 to $10,000 per year. A full list of winners can be found on the Foundation’s website.
