The Clay Center Community Improvement Foundation (CCCIF) has announced the launch of a new long-term fundraising effort called the Clay County Forever Campaign, aimed at strengthening the organization’s future leadership and operations.
The campaign follows a three-year Capacity Building Grant CCCIF received in June 2025 from the Patterson Family Foundation, which allowed the foundation to hire its first executive director. While the grant provides short-term support, the new campaign focuses on building permanent financial stability.
Clay County Forever is designed to establish an operational endowment, where the principal investment remains intact while annual earnings support CCCIF’s leadership and ongoing work.
Foundation leaders say the effort will help ensure the organization can continue serving the community for generations.
As part of the campaign, CCCIF is inviting 80 philanthropists to contribute $25,000 each, either as a single gift or spread over five years.
Board Chair Morree Floersch said the campaign reflects decades of community support and will help maintain the foundation’s momentum while continuing to serve Clay County well into the future.
