Wichita State University’s Public Policy and Management Center (PPMC) announced it has launched the Kansas Data Trust, a new program that brings together information from different sources to help understand important issues, measure impact, and guide decisions that improve the health of communities across Kansas.
The Kansas Data Trust safely combines data from government, nonprofits, and researchers to give a clearer picture of challenges and progress in Kansas. It connects data, supports smarter decisions, protects privacy, and shows what solutions work, helping communities use resources more effectively.
The Kansas Data Trust is funded by a three-year Impact and Opportunity Grant from the Kansas Health Foundation, with extra support from the Information Network of Kansas and the Knight Foundation Fund at the Wichita Foundation.
