The Kansas State Wildcats women’s golf team finished fourth Tuesday at the Yale Invitational West at the Nicklaus Course at PGA WEST in La Quinta, California.
Kansas State shot a final-round 15-over 303 to finish the 54-hole tournament at 9-over 873.
Sophomore Nanami Nakashima led the Wildcats, tying for 18th place at 3-over 219 after a final-round 77. It marked her sixth top-20 finish in eight events this season.
Sophomore Kelsey Chen finished one stroke back in a tie for 19th at 4-over 220 following a round of 76. Freshman Casey Kang also shot 76 and tied for 25th at 6-over 222.
Senior Noa van Beek placed 29th at 10-over 226, while freshman Keen Visavapattamawan finished tied for 39th.
Pepperdine Waves women’s golf won the team title at 15-over, two strokes ahead of the Kansas Jayhawks women’s golf. The Wildcats compete next at the MountainView Collegiate in Tucson, Arizona.
