Obituary-Jimmie Patterson

Jimmie Patterson 91 died March 5, 2023, in Manhattan, KS.  He was born on December 6, 1931, in Ranger, TX the son of Elzo and Pearla (Choat) Patterson.  Jimmy was raised in Ranger, TX and was a graduate from Ranger High School.  He attended Ranger Junior College before joining the US Navy.  He served in the Korean War aboard the USS Boxer aircraft carrier.  Following the war, he attended Odessa college for two years.  He worked as a terminal manager for Mid-America Pipeline.  Jimmy married Karen Brantley on June 12, 1957.  They made their home in Lincoln, NE before moving to Clay Center in 1960.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Gary and Bill Patterson.

Brother: Mike Patterson, San Antonio, TX

Sister: Lana Chambers, Lubbock, TX

4 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren

Memorial Services:  2PM Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
