Sharon Landry, age 70, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. She was born on February 17, 1953 to Vernon and Lela Mae (Kalivoda) Kroulik.
Sharon graduated from Concordia High School in the Class of 1971.
She married David M. Landry on December 19, 1980 in Concordia, Kansas. They had two daughters Gina and Laura.
Sharon worked for Mayfield Electric as a bookkeeper. She also worked at the Alco Department Store for several years. Later she had a daycare in her home helping take care of family and friends’ children.
Sharon was previously a community leader in the New Horizon 4-H Club here in Concordia where she encouraged and involved her two daughters. She truly enjoyed taking care of her many plants in her home, spending time with her dog Riley, and her beloved grand dogs as she called them, they were like her grandbaby’s. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her husband, David Landry, Concordia, Kansas; two daughters Gina Woodford (Roger); Laura Landry all of Concordia; a sister, Brenda Frost, Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
She was preceded by her parents; two brothers, Darrell and Duane Kroulik, sister-in-law, Tonja Kroulik, sister-in-law, Sharon Lassen.
It was Sharon’s wishes to be cremated and visitation with family gathering and sharing time will be held 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas. A private family Inurnment will take place at a later time in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
