Tanya L. Mendell, age 64, of Concordia, Kansas passed away at North Central Kansas Medical Center on April 11, 2023. She was born in Granite City, Illinois, on April 17, 1958, to Paul and Virginia (Watson) Strait.

Tanya grew up and attended schools in California before moving to Concordia with her family in 1986.

Tanya was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Serina Todd of Concordia, Kansas; her partner, David Fees of Concordia, Kansas; two sisters, Donna Campbell, of Eugene, Oregon, and Paula Burns, of Prineville, Oregon; and her three grandsons Trenton Todd, Colton Todd, and Bradley Ritchey, all of Concordia.

Cremation was selected and family burial will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
