The Clay Center Rotary had their weekly meeting Thursday and presented their bridge and the lower part of the rotary trail, which coincidentally is named Lower Rotary Trail.

In a little more than a month, the addition to the existing trail was completed and funded through contributions made to the Rotary Club.

Thomas Milligan, a Rotarian and owner of Double L Manufacturing explained the extensiveness of the bridge:

As far as if or when there will be a dedication to the bridge, Mulligan said this:

The total length of the trail now is 5480 feet, that’s 200 feet longer than a mile. There are six benches provided by the Grow Clay County movement on the trail for those walking to be able to take a break.
