The 68th Annual PRCA Longford Rodeo is set for Friday, August 30th, and Saturday, August 31st starting at 7:30 p.m. This annual Rodeo brings attendees from across the area to Longford for two nights of action and fun.
This year’s Rodeo will feature PRCA Clown and Barrelman Marshall Greene, who brings a unique blend of charm and comedy to the arena. Dusty Mullin, Rodeo Committee Member, said he is excited about this year’s Rodeo, with a new act coming to the arena.
On Friday night a free barbeque meal will be served beginning at 6:00 p.m. PRCA events will run both Friday and Saturday nights, with a kids calf scramble and Mutton Bustin happening both nights as well. On Saturday the night will kick off with a Parade at 5:30 p.m. and finish with a free dance after the Rodeo. Mullin said they will be giving away two items on Saturday as well.
Advanced tickets can be purchased at many surrounding towns and businesses. Information on this weekend’s Rodeo and a list of Ticket Outlets can be found on the Longford Rodeo Facebook page.
