The Riley County Livestock Association Spring Meeting Set as Grazing Season Nears

The Riley County K-State Research and Extension Office will be holding its annual Riley County Livestock Association Spring Meeting on Thursday, April 4th at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairview Church Fellowship Hall in Riley.

Gary Fike, Extension Director, said this Annual Spring Meeting is educational in nature.

This year’s guest speaker will be Dr. Jason Warner, K-State Beef Cow-Calf Specialist. Warner, who earned his Ph.D. in Animal Science at the University of Nebraska, will be speaking on mineral supplementation.

A catered meal will be provided by the Farmhouse of Riley and Olsburg. Attendees are asked to RSVP no later than April 1st by noon. You can RSVP on their website or by calling the Extension Office.
