The results are in, and Abilene has earned the #3 spot in USA Today’s 10 Best Historic Small Town Competition. This is Abilene’s sixth straight year in the 10 Best Competition.

Julie Roller Weeks, Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau Director said this consistent Top 10 rank is a testament to the commitment Abilene’s community members have to preserving and promoting the history of the town.

Weeks wanted to praise those near and far who voted daily for Abilene, helping Abilene garner this high rank.

This honor adds to the many accolades Abilene has received in recent years with undoubtedly more on the way.
