Cloud County Community College has received a grant to go towards their new Tech Center. The grant, a total of $50,000, was awarded to the college from the Earl Bane Foundation. This new center will provide access to quality education, particularly to the careers that are in high demand in Kansas.
“These funds will be used for equipment that will provide the best educational opportunity for our students,” CCCC President Amber Knoettgen said.
The Tech Center, approximately 35,000 square feet, will have programs such as Renewable Energy, Nursing and Allied Health, EMT and CAN classes, welding, and more.
Cloud is still fundraising for the Tech Center.
