The Community Foundation of Dickinson County has announced the recipients of its 2025 Foundation Community and Herington Legacy Grants, awarding a total of $186,576.20 to support more than 30 local organizations across Dickinson County.
These grants will help fund a wide variety of community projects and programs that strengthen the quality of life in our area, from education, health, and youth development to the arts, community improvement, and senior services.
“Every grant we award represents a partnership with our donors and the incredible nonprofits serving Dickinson County,” said Elizabeth Weese, Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Dickinson County. “It’s inspiring to see how these funds touch lives and create opportunities that ripple throughout our county.”
The Foundation Community and Herington Legacy grant programs are made possible through endowment funds established by generous donors who wanted to ensure permanent, flexible resources for local needs. Grant recommendations are made by the Foundation’s Grants Committee, composed of members of the Board of Directors, and approved by the full Board.
