Emily Rugg Takes the Crown: Miss Kansas 2025

Emily Rugg was crowned Miss Kansas 2025 on Saturday, June 7th at Pratt Community College. The pageant drew 21 contestants from across the state, each competing for the title of Miss Kansas. Categories included talent, fitness, evening gown, on-stage questions, and private interviews.

Rugg will now go on to represent Kansas at the Miss America competition, joining other young women in competing for one of the nation’s most prestigious scholarships.

Katelyn Andrist was named first-runner up and Kristen Stokes was named second runner-up. Victoria Grace Pedruzzi took third place, with Alyna Chavez earning a spot as fourth runner-up.

The Miss Kansas organization operates as a state licensee of the Miss America Opportunity, which is recognized as one of the largest scholarship providers for young women in the world. In addition to scholarships, the program emphasizes the importance of leadership, community service, and personal growth.
