On March 18th, the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) hosted the GMCF Annual Meeting & Community Foundation Awards (CFAs). The event hosted over 570 attendees coming together to celebrate and honor outstanding contributions to our community.

Vern Henricks, President & CEO, GMCF said, “The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation Trustees, Board, and Staff would like to thank everyone for their support during our 25th Anniversary celebration. They are grateful to live in a community with so many generous and thoughtful individuals and organizations, and they are excited about the future and look forward to making a difference every day.”

In celebration of GMCF’s 25th anniversary, the Community Foundation Awards looked different than previous years. This year, the event presented Cornerstone Awards to 25 individuals who have been pivotal to the success of GMCF in the last 25 years.

In addition to honoring the 25 Cornerstone individuals and organizations, the Community Foundation Awards event featured four inspiring nonprofit videos highlighting the impactful work of various community initiatives.
