Junction City, Kan. — Junction City Animal Shelter received a $10,000 grant investment from national nonprofit Petco Love during a special celebration at Manhattan, KS Petco earlier this morning.
Petco Love is a national nonprofit leading change for pets by harnessing the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier.
Susanne Kogut, President of Petco Love said their investment in Junction City Animal Shelter is part of more than $15M in investments recently announced by Petco Love to power local organizations across the country as part of our commitment to create a future in which no pet is unnecessary euthanized.
Vanessa Gray said they can continue to help those in need, whether it be pet owners or the homeless pets of Geary County- this investment is absolutely needed.
One of those being vouchers which can be used for spay or neutering pets or even just general veterinary care.
