NCK Tech has been named one of the nation’s top 150 community colleges by the Aspen Institute of College Excellence. This makes them eligible to compete for the $1 million prize. This is the fifth year in a row that the college has been chosen as one of the nominees. Community colleges are selected from a pool of over 1,000 community colleges. NCK Tech will submit student success data as well as strategies to achieve better student outcomes. Nationwide, only 15% of community colleges have been invited to apply for the Aspen Prize.
