Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan Recognized Among Nation’s Cleanest Hospitals

Via Christi Manhattan

Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan has been named one of the cleanest hospitals in the nation in a list compiled by Becker’s Hospital Review, one of only 15 Kansas hospitals to make the list.

“This recognition from Becker’s reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire team in ensuring a clean and comfortable healing environment for our patients,” said Robert Copple, president of Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan. “Cleanliness plays a vital role in infection control and in the overall patient experience, and we are proud to be included among the top national hospitals in this regard.”

The Becker’s list includes 374 U.S. hospitals that achieved a 5-star rating for cleanliness from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The CMS rating is based on the results of a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their perspectives on the cleanliness of the hospital environment during recent inpatient stays.

This recognition adds to Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan’s other recent accolades, including its “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, its selection as one of America’s Best-in-State Hospitals 2025 by Newsweek and Statista, and its recognition as a High-Performing Hospital for Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report for four consecutive years.
