Via Christi Hospital Manhattan has been awarded an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for Spring 2024. The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization, evaluates hospitals across the United States on over 30 performance metrics related to medical errors, accidents, injuries, and infections, as well as the efficacy of their preventive measures. This prestigious grade highlights Via Christi Hospital Manhattan’s commitment to patient safety.
“Earning an “A” grade from The Leapfrog Group is no small feat, and it is all thanks to our incredible staff and community physicians,” said Bob Copple, President of Via Christi Hospital Manhattan. “Their dedication to patient safety and their relentless pursuit of excellence is what makes our hospital stand out.”

This is the sixth “A” grade for Via Christi Hospital Manhattan in the last three and a half years. The hospital previously earned the award in Spring 2021, fall 2021, spring 2022, spring 2023, fall 2023, and now spring 2024.
