2024 Frontier in Flight Airshow: New Entry Requirements and Enhanced Amenities at McConnell Air Force Base

The 2024 Frontier in Flight Airshow at McConnell Air Force Base features several notable changes from the 2022 event.

The airshow will take place from August 24-25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at McConnell Air Force Base. Admission and parking are both free.

First, all attendees 18 and older must present a state- or federal government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, for entry. Non-U.S. citizens over 18 can use a passport or permanent resident card for admission.

Second, guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water in a non-glass container, filled and ready to use and refill. This will help them stay hydrated and prevent heat-related injuries throughout the day.

Free water fill stations will be in the general public parking lot as well as on the airshow ramp. Those locations, along with cooling tents, restrooms, and first-aid stations, are marked on the map.
