Representative Sharice Davids has announced her eighth annual Valentines for Vets program, which gathers and delivers Valentine’s Day cards to veterans and their caregivers across Kansas’ Third District.

Community members are invited to take part by creating Valentine’s cards and either dropping them off in person or mailing them to Davids’ Overland Park office. Cards will be accepted through Friday, February 13.

The program is designed to share appreciation and encouragement with veterans and the people who care for them. After the collection period ends, Davids will personally deliver the cards to veterans and caregivers at a local Veterans Affairs facility.
