A catfish benefit tournament was held in Morganville on August 9th. The winning team consisted of (left to right): Jamie Koster, Sheldon Pfizenmaier, Cash Canfield (front), Coyer Canfield, Carly Bloomfield, and Cohen Canfield.
Second place included Kevin Helms, Sam Ringering, Matt Peterson, and Ethan Mesalles. Third place was Matt Schwab, Corey Affolter, Chris Affolter, and Kyle Brab.
Benefit recipient, Addie Voelker, 8. She was diagnosed with Synovial Cell Sarcoma, a rare but aggressive form of cancer. Voelker resides in Palmer and travels to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Tennessee for treatments. She is the daughter of Michael and Kadie Voelker.
She is pictured right with Mary and Matt Wright, who organized the tournament.
