Kansas State senior women’s golfer Carla Bernat was named a First Team All-American by Golfweek, marking the second time in two weeks she has earned this honor. Last week, she was also named a First Team All-American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.
Bernat, a native of Castellon, Spain, is one of only two Big 12 golfers named to the first, second, or third teams this year. She set a program record with a 70.08 scoring average and finished in the top five in eight of 13 events. She did not finish outside the top 20, posting even or under par scores throughout the season.
Bernat won three events in 2024-25, including the Powercat Invitational and the NCAA Lexington Regional, tying the school record for wins in a single season. She was also named Big 12 Women’s Golfer of the Year.
