Kansas State senior Carla Bernat was named a First Team All-American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) for the 2024-25 season. This is her second All-American honor, having been named to the second team last year.
Bernat, the 2024-25 Big 12 Women’s Golfer of the Year, set a school record with a 70.08 scoring average. She shot in the 60s in 18 of 39 rounds and finished in the top five in eight of 13 tournaments. She never finished outside the top 20 and was even par or better in every event.
Bernat ended her college career ranked first in K-State history for scoring average and second in wins, top-five, and top-10 finishes. She won the NCAA Lexington Regional and tied for 14th at the NCAA Championship.
She will compete in the U.S. Women’s Open this week at Erin Hills in Wisconsin.
