Bernat, Navarro Tie for 14th at NCAA Championship

Kansas State women’s golfers Carla Bernat and Alenka Navarro each tied for 14th at the 2025 NCAA Championship on Monday in Carlsbad, California. The event was held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.

Bernat, a senior, shot a 5-under 67 in the final round to finish 2-under 286 for the tournament. Starting on the back nine, she opened with three birdies in a row and finished her last nine holes bogey-free.

Navarro, a sophomore, posted a 4-under 68 to also finish at 2-under overall. She holed out for eagle from 97 yards on the par-5 10th and added five birdies during her round.

Bernat ends her K-State career as the program leader in scoring average and ranks second in career wins. Navarro, with a strong second season, heads into her junior year ranked second all-time in career scoring average at K-State.
