Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) announced it has once again been recognized as a national leader in customer service, earning SQM Group’s prestigious Call Center of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year. The recognition, part of SQM’s highly respected Call Center Customer Service Industry Awards, honors organizations that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
In addition to the top award, BCBSKS was recognized for first call resolution, excellence in email customer service, and outstanding employee experience. One of its team members, Heather Hayes, was also named a finalist for Customer Service Representative of the Year.
As a Kansas-based, not-for-profit health plan, BCBSKS emphasizes supporting its members and communities. “This recognition means the world to our team,” said Holly Graves, Vice President of Operations. “We walk alongside our members as they make life-shaping decisions.”
Hayes noted that helping members during both difficult and joyful moments is what makes the work truly meaningful. Award winners were honored at the SQM CX Conference last week.
