Central Kansas Free Fair Will Celebrate 100 Years with a Celebration at Eisenhower Park

On Saturday, July 27th the Central Kanas Free Fair in Abilene will celebrate its 100th year with a kick-off celebration at Eisenhower Park. The Free Fair will be from July 30th to August 4th.

The Lazy Wayne Band will perform at the Royer Bandshell beginning at 7:00 p.m. Food vendors will be at the park and the Dickinson County Historical Society will host old-fashioned games. The celebration will end with a fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.

The Central Kansas Free Fair is one of the largest in Kansas, offering activities and entertainment for all ages, including the Wild Bill Hickok PRCA Rodeo and Demolition Derby, along with a carnival running from July 30th to August 3rd. To honor the 100th anniversary this year’s theme will be “Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present, Embrace the Future.”
