Chiefs Begin Training Camp with Crowded Wide Receiver Room

The Kansas City Chiefs enter training camp with 13 wide receivers on the roster, all vying for limited spots ahead of the 2025 season. Headliners include Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and Rashee Rice, both returning from injury. Rookie standout Xavier Worthy, who scored nine touchdowns last year, also returns after a strong first season. Skyy Moore and Justyn Ross hope to bounce back, while JuJu Smith-Schuster re-joins after a solid 2024 campaign. Rookie Jalen Royals brings deep-threat ability, and undrafted players like Elijhah Badger and Mac Dalena will compete for roles. Veterans Tyquan Thornton and Jason Brownlee round out the mix. The team has kept seven receivers in recent years, so competition will be tight. With key players finally healthy, the Chiefs aim to return to full strength and showcase a more explosive offense in 2025. Training camp begins later this month in St. Joseph.
