Chiefs Partner with German Federal Police for Flag Football Camp

By Jayson Henderson

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced a partnership with the German Federal Police (Bundespolizei), expanding their connections in Germany and the DACH region.

The agreement includes sponsorship of a youth Flag Football camp on September 18 at Sportpark Freiham in Munich, home to the Chiefs Girls Flag Football League in Germany. Students aged 15-18 will take part in drills, learn the game, and meet with police recruitment advisors.

Chiefs Vice President of Partnership Strategy Kellen Begnoche said the event will help grow American football globally. Federal Police official Michael May said the sport shares values such as teamwork and discipline.

The Chiefs gained marketing rights in Germany in 2021 and played their first regular-season game there in 2023. The sports marketing agency Sportfive helped arrange the partnership.
