CHIEFS SIGN TWO VETERAN TRYOUT PLAYERS AFTER MINICAMP

The Kansas City Chiefs made two roster additions on Tuesday, signing offensive lineman Joey Lombard and tight end Geor’Quarius Spivey after their minicamp tryouts.

Lombard, a rookie from South Dakota, started 48 games in college, mainly at center. He took part in the team’s rookie minicamp earlier this offseason and earned All-America honors in 2024.

Spivey returns to the Chiefs after a brief stint in last year’s training camp. He recently played in the UFL with the Houston Roughnecks.

The Chiefs released offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum and waived tight end Kevin Foelsch to open roster spots.
