The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran offensive lineman Tremayne Anchrum on Friday to add depth to their offensive line.
Anchrum, 6-foot-2 and 314 pounds, has played in 31 NFL games with one start. He was a seventh-round pick by the Los Angeles Rams in 2020. Originally a tackle in college, he moved to guard in the NFL.
Anchrum played 101 offensive snaps and 133 special teams snaps for the Rams. Most of his offensive work came in 2023, when he played 96 snaps at right guard. He spent last season on the Houston Texans’ practice squad.
Now with Kansas City, Anchrum will compete for a role on the offensive line.
In other roster moves, the Chiefs waived running back Keaontay Ingram with an injury. He later reverted to injured reserve. Wide receiver Justin Lockhart was also released with an injury settlement.
