The Kansas City Chiefs concluded their three-day mandatory minicamp Thursday, marking the end of a three-month offseason training program designed to prepare the team for the 2025 season.
Operating under “Phase 3” rules, the minicamp allowed for offensive versus defensive drills. Head Coach Andy Reid praised the players and staff for their conditioning, highlighting a final run test that showed the team is in good shape.
Key moments from practices included strong performances by Patrick Mahomes, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Travis Kelce, and several defensive standouts like Nohl Williams and Mike Edwards.
Mahomes connected on multiple impressive passes, including touchdowns to Kelce and other receivers during red zone and 7-on-7 drills.
The Chiefs will now take a break before training camp begins next month, aiming to build on their success as three-time defending AFC champions.
