The Clay County Museum is focusing its efforts on attracting a younger audience.

Grace Kensa, the museum’s Curator of Documents, said they want to foster a love of history and learning in the youth who visit by creating more interactive exhibits.

The Clay County Museum’s most recent efforts towards their goal include the purchase of a souvenir penny press and the construction dinosaur dig table exhibit, both of which are planned to be installed sometime within the coming months.
