In a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 15th, Cloud County Sheriff’s Department announced that several citizens have received a letter from Carlos Ramirez with Primeland Partners with offers to purchase their land.

After some research, the sheriff’s department concluded that the same thing has been done in many counties in Kansas and citizens have been warned about doing business with him.

The Cloud County Sheriff’s Department wants citizens who aren’t as familiar with these scams to be aware of what is happening.
