Former Kansas State All-American Kaelen Culpepper has been named to the American League roster for the 2025 MLB All-Star Futures Game. The event will take place Saturday, July 12, at Truist Park in Atlanta and will be broadcast on MLB Network, MLB.TV, and MLB.com.
Culpepper, a shortstop and the Minnesota Twins’ No. 4 prospect, was the team’s only player selected for the game. Drafted 21st overall in 2024, he began the season in High-A before earning a quick promotion to Double-A Wichita.
In Wichita, Culpepper is slashing .333/.412/.433 with an .845 OPS. He homered in his third and fourth Double-A games.
At K-State, Culpepper earned Second Team All-American honors and was a three-time All-Big 12 selection. He finished his college career with a .314 average, 26 home runs, and 122 RBI, ranking 10th in school history in career homers.
