Dairy MAX Launches Better With Dairy to Engage Gen Z and Promote the Benefits of Dairy

Dairy MAX, a regional dairy council, is excited to launch Better With Dairy, a new initiative aimed at engaging Gen Z consumers by showcasing the benefits of dairy. Based on two years of research into dairy consumption trends across its eight-state region (Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wyoming, and Montana), the initiative seeks to ensure dairy stays relevant for younger generations.

Gen Z, born between 1997 and 2012, has an estimated $360 billion in annual buying power and greatly influences household purchasing decisions. Dairy MAX’s research shows younger Gen Z teens have a positive view of dairy, while older Gen Z adults are more skeptical, making it important to address their concerns with facts and transparency. Gen Z also prefers engaging, educational content on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat.

Better With Dairy aims to connect authentically with this audience by highlighting dairy as a delicious, nutritious part of a balanced lifestyle. The initiative will also emphasize sustainable farming practices and create fun, shareable content to integrate dairy into daily life. This launch marks an important step in Dairy MAX’s mission to strengthen its bond with Gen Z and promote a sustainable dairy future.
