ESPN named eight current and former Kansas City Chiefs to its “All-Quarter Century Team,” recognizing standout NFL figures since 2000.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight ends Travis Kelce and Tony Gonzalez, defensive linemen Chris Jones and Jared Allen, running back Priest Holmes, cornerback Darrelle Revis, and special teams coordinator Dave Toub all made the list.
Mahomes was listed behind Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, with five AFC titles and three Super Bowl wins. Kelce was ranked second among tight ends, with nine straight seasons of 80+ catches. Gonzalez followed at No. 3.
Jones placed third at defensive tackle after anchoring three championship defenses. Allen was listed as the No. 2 edge rusher.
Holmes was named the starting running back after a dominant run from 2001–03. Revis earned the top cornerback spot. Toub was recognized for consistently elite special teams units from 2006–2017.
