MANHATTAN, Kan. – Eight Kansas State football players have been named Academic All-District performers by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognizing their excellence in academics and athletics.
The honorees are tight end Will Anciaux, running back Dylan Edwards, offensive linemen Sam Hecht and Easton Kilty, quarterback Avery Johnson, linebacker Austin Moore, defensive end Brendan Mott, and linebacker Austin Romaine. Notably, Moore and Mott earned the accolade for the third time in their careers.
The Academic All-District Football Teams highlight top student-athletes across NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA levels. Kilty, Moore, Mott, and Romaine will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration, with the results to be announced January 28.
