Kansas State football alumni were active across the NFL in Week 2. Defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah remains on injured reserve with Kansas City, which fell to Philadelphia, 20-17.
Cooper Beebe started for Dallas before leaving with an injury in a 40-37 overtime win against the Giants. JuJu Brents made his debut for Miami on special teams in a 33-27 loss to New England.
DJ Giddens saw limited snaps in Indianapolis’ 29-28 win over Denver, while Josh Hayes recorded a tackle on special teams in Tampa Bay’s 20-19 victory at Houston.
Other standouts included Tyler Lockett, who made his first start with Tennessee, and Jacob Parrish, who registered a tackle and pass breakup for Tampa Bay.
Veterans Cornelius Lucas, D.J. Reed and Dalton Risner all started for their teams, while rookies like Marques Sigle logged full defensive workloads.
K-State currently has 19 former players in the NFL.
