Gather For Good Match Day Is A Success

Gather For Good’s Match Day, organized by the Clay Center Community Improvement Foundation (CCCIF), raised an impressive total of $262,955.91. This substantial sum will benefit various local organizations within the community.

Leading the donation charts was the Clay Center Utility Park and Zoo, receiving $26,845.00, closely followed by CCCIF – Match Day Fund with $25,430.00, and the Clay County Historical Society securing $15,035.00. The Clay County Educational Endowment Association and Lighthouse for Christ received $14,370.00 and $14,009.00, respectively.

In terms of gifts received, Clay Center Utility Park and Zoo led with 73 gifts. Community Church Camp Committee followed with 64 gifts, while Lighthouse for Christ and A Mural Movement received 61 and 57 gifts, respectively. Clay County Animal Rescue & Education Center – CCARE also garnered support with 49 gifts.

Gather for Good Match Day’s success really shows the community’s dedication to supporting local causes. The event’s impact was magnified by the pro-rated matching funds based on the total donations received. Special appreciation was extended to United Bank and Trust for their generous contribution of $50,000 over 5 years, significantly enhancing the event’s success. The unity of effort showcased the remarkable spirit of giving within Clay Center.
