Governor Laura Kelly continues to honor former President Jimmy Carter with flags at half-staff across Kansas while extending her congratulations to President Trump ahead of his inauguration as the 47th president of the United States in Washington, D.C.

“I congratulate President Trump on his inauguration and hope for a smooth transition today,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “I look forward to working with his administration and making sure the voices of Kansans are heard in Washington, D.C.”

Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on January 28, 2025.
