Governor Laura Kelly recognized the State Employee Health Benefits Plan Division (SEHBP) on Monday for receiving the 2024 “Health at Work” award. The SEHBP, part of the Kansas Department of Administration, consists of 44 employees overseeing the State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) and the State Self Insurance Fund (SSIF). SEHP manages medical, dental, and vision coverage, while SSIF handles workers’ compensation services.
“I’m proud of the service the State Employee Health Benefits Plan Division provides to our employees and their families,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “This award recognizes the dedication the SEHBP has in delivering high-quality services.”
ComPsych, the nation’s largest mental health service provider, honored SEHBP for its innovative health programs that prioritize employee well-being. Through its partnership with ComPsych, SEHBP has improved access to care and enhanced the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), ensuring employees’ health needs are met.
