Governor Kelly Orders Flags at Half-Staff in Johnson County to Honor Former Commission Chair Annabeth Surbaugh

In line with Executive Order #20-30, Governor Laura Kelly has ordered flags in Johnson County, Kansas, to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, in memory of former Johnson County Commission Chair Annabeth Surbaugh.

“For more than three decades, Chair Surbaugh was a fierce advocate for the people of Johnson County,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “Her work with countless organizations will be remembered fondly and touched the lives of many. My sincere condolences go out to her loved ones during this difficult time.”
