Haggerty Earns More Player of the Year Nominations

Kansas State guard P.J. Haggerty has been named to two national Player of the Year watch lists — the Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy and the Oscar Robertson Trophy.

This marks the third such honor for the junior this season. Haggerty was also listed among the 20 candidates for the 2026 NABC Division I Player of the Year award on Oct. 30.

Haggerty has received multiple preseason honors, including All-America recognition from CBS Sports, Jay Bilas, and others, along with All-Big 12 honors from league coaches.

The Memphis transfer averaged 25 points across K-State’s two exhibition games and posted a 27-point, 10-assist double-double in Friday’s win over Newman.

Last season, Haggerty averaged 21.7 points at Memphis, earning AAC Player of the Year and Second Team All-American honors.
