Hazen Sets School Record in 3,000 Meters

Kansas State senior Tommy Hazen broke the school, facility, and meet record in the 3,000 meters at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular meet last Friday with a time of 8:03.77. The Overland Park, Kansas, native shaved 10 seconds off his personal best and surpassed the previous school record of 8:05.51. Hazen credited his training, new coaching staff, and the state-of-the-art Cliff Rovelto Indoor Track for his performance. He aims to keep improving throughout the season.
